Dave has been teaching golf as a PGA Professional for over 25 years. Dave teaches at Missing Links in Mequon, WI during the summers and here at Desert Sands during the winter. Dave has great knowledge of the golf swing and has worked with all ranges of golfers from beginners to tournament players.
Char graduated from the Golf Academy of America and joined the LPGA. Char's passion is helping others enrich their life through golf.
Char was successful at The Nielsen Company for nearly 20 years before deciding to leave the corporate world to focus on helping others get into the game of golf. One of her unique accomplishments in golf is competing in the REMAX Long Drive - World finals in 2007 and 2008.
Her teaching philosophy is to understand each student's objectives (why you do want to play golf?) and to develop a plan that makes learning to play a fun and comfortable experience. Char believes that it is as important to learn how to 'play the game' as it is to develop a confident swing. Each person's swing should start with basic, sound fundamentals and then be tailored to fit his or her physical capabilities, athletic experiences, and objectives.
